Travel with pet
There are different areas and accommodations so you can travel with your pet on board our vessels:
- Pets may travel inside the vessel if they weigh no more than 10 kg and remain inside a carrier (max. 50×40×25 cm).
- If the pet + carrier exceed 10 kg, it must travel in the ship kennels.
- Access is allowed to seat lounges, but not to restaurants or cabins.
- Pets may also travel on the outside decks, only in designated areas.
- The use of a leash is mandatory outside the carrier and, for breeds considered dangerous, a muzzle is also required.
- The owner is responsible for the pet’s waste.
- If the animal travels inside a vehicle, the liability waiver must be signed and the crew must be informed.
Passengers travelling with pets must respect the other passengers in the lounge.
The carrier must be solid, ventilated, leak-proof, secure, and prevent the animal from escaping.
For birds, cages must be resistant, securely locked, and prevent food or water from spilling. The cage must always be covered. Small animals may share the same cage if they are of the same species. Animals that may cause discomfort due to smell, behavior, or special characteristics will not be accepted.
Our vessels also have indoor kennels in the hold and outdoor kennels on deck. Different sizes are available.
In premium class lounges with terrace, pets are also allowed. If the lounge has no terrace, pets must remain inside the carrier.
Pets may also travel on the exterior decks in designated areas, following these rules:
- Respect other passengers and animals.
- Leash required outside the carrier.
- Dangerous breeds must wear leash and muzzle.
- Owners must clean up after their pets.
*Check which vessels have terrace available.

Special regulations for assistance dogs.
Guide and assistance dogs are considered to be those that have been trained to accompany, guide, and assist people with disabilities in specialized and officially recognized schools. They will not occupy accommodation and will stay next to their user without disturbing other passengers. Both on land and on the ship, areas will be provided, as far as possible, for guide dogs to relieve themselves.
They must carry their veterinary record and be properly equipped with a muzzle, collar, and leash. They must wear an official identification, and their owner must, upon request by Assistance Staff, demonstrate that the dog meets the applicable regulations and provide official documentation linking the dog to the owner.
If any of these requirements are not met, the transport of the dog will be subject to the conditions established for traveling with pets.
